Marseille in a day

First of all, I would like to warn you about the homeless, so please be careful during both daytime and night time.

I would like to start with where to hang out,

  • Le Panier, for watching the murals and grabbing a beer

  • Le Canebiere, for night and gathering

  • Cours Julien for a drink and grab a bite

  • Vieux Port for food and shopping

  • A walk from Plage des Catalans to the Prado

For where to eat

I tried Limmat, and it was wonderful but ask for a table outside, because inside is really squeezy.

In addition to these, you can also go to Friche la Belle de Mai, a huge activity center, and visit Notre-Dame de la Garde cathedral which is a little far away but may worth it. Also you can visit Unité d’Habitation, a world heritage site. Buy something from Maison Empereur, homewares store, open since 1827. Make your own soap in Musée du Savon.

"Limmat"

What to eat?

·    Vanille Noire for an ice cream

·    Bouillabaisse is a Marseille dish

·    Madeleines

·   Moules Marinière

·    Aïoli

Hope you enjoy.
