MOLIVOS & PETRA (June 2022)

Molivos and Petra are very close to each other. These villages are located on the north of the island.

It actually doesn’t matter where you choose to stay if you do have a car. If you don’t, there is a small shuttle that can transfer you from one to another. So no worries.

The main thing is that, if it is summer, you may prefer to stay in Petra to enjoy swimming. But Molivos is much more alive than Petra. It depends on you.

There are lots of places that you can enjoy the sunbath in Petra.

They are all side by side. In addition to Petra Beach, you can also go to Anaxos Beach which is 2km away from Petra.

Again, lots of places you can choose from.

I tried Malibu, it was a cool place to hang all day.

You can give it a try.

The historical places that you can experience are mostly in Molivos

· The Ottoman Baths of Mithymna

Top tip:

But for the parking, as Molivos is a village that is surrounded with narrow streets, try to park outside the town and walk from there.

It is not a very big village so you can wander around on foot.

Last tip:

If you have a car, there is a cute fisherman’s village that you shouldn’t miss, called Skala Sikamineas.

It is a very small village but the best restaurant in whole island is in here.

Try the lobster pasta and you will not regret it.
