June 2024

We went to Paros with a Ferry from Athens / Piraeus Harbor, it took 3.5 hours to the island but the ferry is very comfortable so this won't be a problem. However, there is also a airport in Paros so you can prefer plane too.

We decided to stay at Naoussa area of the island, as it is more beautiful than the center (Parikia), but more expensive. Most of the restaurants and bars are located in this area, so you may want to consider Naoussa for accomodation.

Lets start with restaurants and bars;

For restaurants, the ones worth trying are as follows

  • Statheros

  • Shosho

  • Bountaraki

  • O Katsunas

  • Thalassamou

  • Sigi Ikthios

  • Daverona

For the beaches, I actually don't recommend any of the beach clubs, they are so expensive and also so crowded that you won't enjoy it. Instead of beach clubs, you can consider secluded beaches with taking umbrellas or chairs with you, if you have a car.

The beaches that I liked are

  • Mini Santa Maria (bring your own umbrella, chairs and food)

  • Rebel Beach Bar (a little windy but nice), they also have umbrellas and sunbeds for a reasonable price

  • Piso Aliki

You can also visit Anti Paros with a small ferry that runs every 30 mins and takes 8 mins to get you there.

If you do go Antiparos, definitely visit the cave which is very deep (around 400 staircases), and eat at Captain Pipinos.

Hope you enjoy.
